While I couldn't give a tinker's damn if LeBron James plays for the Knicks or some other team, I thought this video from the ladies of Promises, Promises was cute (and some savvy marketing).
The Knicks suck. But if LeBron comes, it will be good for the Knicks and especially for New York. The thought this was a fun marketing ploy, but maybe would have been more fun to tie-in "She Loves Basketball" instead.
StageBuzz.com is looking for an organized, self-motivated intern to join our team for Summer 2013. The ideal candidate would be a current college student planning a career in theatre who wants to find out about and make contacts in the Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway community. While StageBuzz.com is New York City-based, the intern does not need to be located in New York - the work is Internet-based and can be completed remotely. The internship is unpaid.
The internship will start in June. End date is flexible.
Primary responsibilities include reviewing press releases, publicity materials, and theatre websites and blogs to identify possible article/interview subjects, writing articles and conduction interviews, assisting with social networking outreach, and assisting with general administrative duties. The internship should require 6-10 hours of work per week.
To apply, please send a cover letter, theatrical resume, and writing sample to Byrne Harrison by April 15th. The writing sample should be no more than 1000 words, and should discuss your most significant theatrical experience.
Please list "2013 Summer Internship" in the subject line of your e-mail.
