Theatre Shorts

-- Broadway in Bryant Park kicks off on Thursday, July 8th from 12:30-1:30 PM featuring the casts of STOMP, Promises, Promises, In the Heights, and Nunsense. Broadway in Bryant Park is every Thursday through August 12th. See the full schedule here.

-- The undergroundzero festival starts today and runs through the 26th.

-- Pulitzer and Tony-winning playwright David Mamet, currently represented on Broadway with the play Race, will be a guest on Charlie Rose Wednesday, July 7th at 11 PM EST on PBS.

-- Jane Krakowski will perform and sign copies of her first solo album, "Jane Krakowski: The Laziest Gal in Town" at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle on Tuesday, July 13th at 5 PM.

-- Cast members from The Addams Family will perform and sign copies of the cast album at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle on Thursday, July 15th at 4:30 PM.

-- Three-time Tony Award winner Carol Channing and cabaret performer Richard Skipper will be appearing at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle on July 23 at 6 PM to discuss Channing's career and her new album of classics and gospel, "For Heaven's Sake."
