Judges for The American Songbook Project’s “Name That Tune” Benefit Announced

Michael Estwanik, president and founder of The American Songbook Project, announced today the judging panel for the "Name That Tune" costume gala benefit to be held at the historic Hudson Theater on Friday, November 4, 2011. East Hampton's Guild Hall and Broadway composer Jerry Herman will be honored.

Chris March, the rotund star of Bravo's new show "Mad Fashion" and former designer on "Project Runway," has joined the committee led by five-time Tony-award winning costume designer Wm. Ivey Long. The other panelists include Emmy nominated Jane Kaczmarek, New York 1's Frank Dilella, Tara Rubin, and Cindy Hoddeson.

The hilarious annual fundraiser supports the musical programs provided by The American Songbook Project in city schools and community centers. Guests are encouraged to dress as a favorite song title and the winner will win a six-day vacation in the glamorous Principality of Monaco.

Ms. Kaczmarek is currently starring in two television shows, "Wilfred" and "Whitney." Mr. DiLella is the executive producer of "On Stage" on New York 1. Tara Rubin is a well known Broadway casting director and Ms. Hoddeson is the executive director of the Monaco Government Tourism Office.

The American Songbook Project was founded in 1999 as a charitable organization to preserve the heritage of American songs, to promote the art of live performance, and to present American popular songs in schools and community centers with the goal of educating and developing new audiences.
