Reading Series - Ten Grand Productions
Sunday, February 10th, 2008If you’re an actor looking to get noticed or someone who just wants to see some fresh, new plays, Monday, February 11th, is the first night of Ten Grand Production’s Winter Cold Cuts Series.
For those of you not familiar with the Cold Cuts Series, it works like this. Each reading features scenes from several new works or works in progress. Actors who are interested in participating bring their headshots and resumes to the reading and can see character breakdowns for the next session, to be held on February 26th. At the end of the evening, the plays for the following night of the series will be cast and those actors will be given scripts and come back in two weeks to perform. New actors will be chosen that week, and so on and so on.
It’s a great opportunity to be seen and to be part of some excellent new work.
The Winter Cold Cuts series will take place every two weeks beginning Monday, February 11th, at 7 PM, in a newly renovated space at the Blue Heron Art Space, 123 E. 24th Street between Park and Lexington. Ten Grand and Algonquin Productions acquired the Blue Heron Art Space late last year.
